IIA Principal

The International Islamic Academy (IIA) Board is pleased to announce that the principal vacancy has been filled. After an extensive interview process involving board members, parents, and teachers, Br. Khalid Almasnaah was selected to join the IIA team as Principal beginning July 7, 2014.

We are excited to add Br. Almasnaah to our IIA team. He brings 20 years of experience in the education field, including five years as a school administrator and three years as a principal. His education background includes a Masters’ degree in linguistics from Wayne State University, a certification in K-12 Administration, as well as a certification in K-12 Education. Additionally, he is pursuing a doctorate in Education Leadership from Eastern Michigan University.

We are confident that Br. Almasnaah’s credentials, experience, and extensive knowledge in educational best practices, will significantly enhance the quality of education at IIA.

As a married father of five children, Br. Almasnaah is passionate about the education and overall well-being of children, and is looking forward to working with IIA’s distinguished staff, parents, and community.
