International Islamic Academy had a very successful fundraising dinner on January 29, 2013. Parents and community members were entertained by amazing performances, nasheed, and wonderful plays by the school students. All our students, from Pre-K3 to 12^th grade, participated and contributed to the entertaining events of the night. The students were outstanding in their acting as they presented many of the educational concepts they had learned in amusing plays .. Our stars also shined as they demonstrated their proficiency in Quran recitation, Islamic hadeeth narration with visual interpretations played by the students, and the entertaining plays in the Arabic language with valuable lessons to be learned. Our high school boys displayed great skill and potential talent with an awesome nasheed performance. The concluding performance was by the talented munshid, Ghasan Abu Khadra, whose pleasant nasheed complemented the entertainment. The night was commenced with a small fundraiser that raised money to cover the school expenses for this school year. It was a very wonderful event and we thank the community members and parents for the continued support. Gratitude and appreciation also go to our principal, the dedicated teachers, and the helpful volunteers who all put in so much time and effort to make this event a success.
